30-Day Return Window
We provide a 30-day return policy, allowing you to request a return within 30 days of receiving your goods.
To be eligible for a return, your Smartwhip cylinder must be unused, unopened, and in its original retail packing.
The cylinder’s security seal needs to be undamaged. Due of safety requirements, we cannot accept returns for cylinders that have been connected to a regulator or partially discharged.
Shipping Costs for Returns
Customer Responsibilities: The cost of return postage is the customer’s responsibility for “change of mind” returns. The cost of shipping is not refundable.
Deductions: The initial cost of shipping your order will be subtracted from the total refund amount if you receive a refund.
Safety Surcharge: Please be advised that return shipping costs may be higher than regular parcel rates since delivering pressurized gas cylinders necessitates the use of specialized couriers.
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and sanitary reasons, certain items are exempt from being returned:
Used Cylinders: Once a gas cylinder has been opened or the seal broken, it is considered “used” and cannot be resold or securely transported back to our warehouse via typical consumer return methods.
Partial Wholesale Cases: Individual cylinders that were part of a bulk case transaction are not returnable.
Sale anything: Unless they come damaged or defective, anything bought during “Clearance” or “Final Sale” events are not refundable.
Refunds
We will let you know if your refund has been approved or denied after our warehouse staff has received and examined your return.
Approval: If approved, your refund will be handled returned to your original mode of payment within 5–10 business days.
Restocking Fee: To cover the expense of safety inspections and repackaging, non-defective returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Damaged or Defective Goods
Although we take great care to package your item, we are aware that the shipping procedure might be challenging.
Inspection Upon Arrival: As soon as your shipment is delivered, please check it. Do not try to use the goods if the box is badly crushed or if you hear a hissing sound.
Reporting Issues: Within 48 hours of delivery, you are required to report any broken or defective items (such as a malfunctioning valve or an empty cylinder).
Evidence Needed: We need detailed pictures of the product packing, the delivery box, and the particular flaw in order to submit a damage claim.
Note: If a cylinder is found to be damaged, you will receive a replacement or a complete refund at no additional cost.

Order Cancellations
If you change your mind after placing a purchase, please contact us promptly.
Before Shipping: If your order has not yet been processed or picked up by the courier, we can cancel it for a full refund.
After Shipping: Orders are subject to the above-mentioned standard return policy once they leave our warehouse, and shipping costs are not refundable.
The Return Process

Contact Support: Send an email with your order number and the reason for the return to support@smartwhipcanada.ca.
Authorization: If your return is accepted, we will issue you a Return Authorization (RA) number and a specific shipping label.
Packaging: Make sure the product is safely placed in its original shipping box. You must use the original box with the necessary “Limited Quantity” (LQ) or “Dangerous Goods” marks since N2O is a pressurized gas.
Unauthorized Returns: Please do not mail things back to us without prior authorization. Packages shipped without a RA number will be denied and returned to the sender at their expense.
Compliance with Transport Canada
As a responsible Canadian retailer, we must verify all returned gas cylinders are carried legally.
No Canada Post: You must never attempt to return Smartwhip cylinders via Canada Post or put them in a mailbox.
Only Approved Couriers: Using the particular paperwork we supply, all returns must be processed by one of our authorized dangerous goods couriers (UPS, Canpar, or Purolator).
